Fair Warning by Michael Connelly [review short]

I have to have read at least twenty of Connelly's novels, and they have all been good reading, well-paced, staffed with interesting and imperfect characters, and the books always accelerate the reader right through to the end, usually involving some twist or unexpected climax.  That said, any newbie to Connelly should always start with the Bosch novels (beginning with The Black Echo ) and leave the other novels for later. Bosch is his best stuff.
